SANDERS CUP EVENTS.

Contest Crews to Arrive To-morrow. It was during the course of the last Sanders Cup races that a new governing body was formed, but Auckland stood out. In the past. inter-provincial yachting contests had been carried on for trophies vested in Auckland and under rules made in Auckland; and the only say the other provinces had had was the recommendations of annual conferences of a few days’ duration. The New Zealand Yachting Council was formed in Lyttelton on the evening of Thursday, February 2. 1933, when delegates were present from all interested places. This year the Sanders Cup contest will be run by the new body for the first time. The first race will be started on Monday, February 5.
