WELL-VARIED BILL.

“ Rustlers’ Round-up ” and “ The Wrecker.” The well-varied bill of fare at the liberty Theatre this week is headed by “ The Wrecker ”, starring: Jack Holt and Genevieve Tobin. It is a story full of action. Holt plays the part of “ Chuck ” Regan, a " wrecker ", whose business consists ot tearing down buildings that have outlived their usefulness. ambitious wife Mary (Genevieve Tobin) carries on a love affair with Cummings, a young builder whom Regan has ** made.’’ The discovery of the treachery of wife and friend drives Regan to a life of dissipation, and to spare his child the disgrace of such a mother he allows the divorce to go uncontested. One of the most thrilling film scenes of the year is that of the earthquake which wrecks Cummings as it wrecks his last job. a magnificent school building which crashes just at the close of its dedication service, imprisoning Cummings and Mary in the ruins. Genevieve Tobin is well cast as Mary, and lier gowns are a deliglit. The supporting film. “ The Rustlers Round-up ’’ (Tom Mix) abounds in feats of horsemanship, and the ranch and canyon settings are very fine. Tn addition. there is a real rodeo, with thrilling events such as roping steers, hromo riding, lariat throwing and a breaGitaking race between two stage coaches.
