CYCLIST INJURED.
An elderly man named Webb was found on the Main South Road, Hornby about 2 pjn. yesterday suffering from a broken nose and facial abrasions. He had apparently fallen from his bicycle, which was lying beside him. He was taken to Dr Helmore’s residence and later conveyed to the Christchurch Hospital by the St John Free Ambulance. After treatment in the outpatients' department he was taken to his home.
