BIG STILL SEIZED.
Customs Officers Carry Out Raid. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, December 10. The largest still yet discovered in this district was found to-day on a farm in the Ferndale district, when a party under the Collector of Customs carried out a raid. The still was absolutely complete and 180 gallons of liquid which has yet to be analysed, but appears to be whisky wash, was found. Although, the officials are reticent one of them remarked to a reporter that the seizure was “the daddy of them all.”
