Two Events Decided at RedclifFs. Good conditions favoured the Canterbury Outboard Motor-boat Club's races at RedclifFs on Saturday, when the Mount Pleasant Handicap and the Heathcote Arms Clip race were decided Whoopee, which lias been performing very consistently this season, won the opening race, and Zip (T. Maebin) scored its first success by winning the Heathcote Arms Cup race. Results:— Mount Pleasant Handicap—First heat: Whoopee (C. Collins), 4Rsec, 1; Riki (T. Kellaway), 40seo. 2 Zip (T. Machln), Texas Imp (H. R. Burrell), Playboy <J. G. Simpson) and Atalanta (S. Dalllng) also started. Atalanta withdrew. Second heat: Riki. 41sec, 3; Texas Imp. lmin 18ser, 2. Whoopee and Zip did not start. Final: Whoopee, 1 2sec, 1; Riki, scr. 2: Texas Imp, 52sec, 3. Heathcote Arms Cup Hand ieaiv—First heat: Zip. 2mfn 26sec, 1: Texas Imp. lmin 40seo, 2. Six started.
