Among New Zealanders who are definitely going with Rear-Admiral Byrd are Messrs H. R. Young, diver; Lawrence W. Cox, of Christchurch, messman ; J. Morrison, of Dunedin, engineer-winchman; J. Robinson, of Auckland, deck hand: B. Bradley, of Wellington, able seaman; G. Sinclair, of Lyttelton, able seaman; G. W. Woolhouse, and E. Haw’lley, engineer. Mr Hawlley, an American by birth, came to New Zealand by the Golden Cross, leaving that ship at Auckland early last month. Two New Zealanders, Messrs Robinson and Mackie, are coming out to New Zealand on the Bear of Oakland.
