A larger attendance than usual at Lancaster Park watched the meeting of West Christchurch and Lancaster Park, the pleading teams in the senior cricket competition. The pavilion was practically full. A number of spectators w'atched the game from the seats inside the gate, and the members’ and east stands also had a few occupants.
