PARTY FOR MISS ROSS.
Columba College Old Girls’ Association. Miss Frances Ross, formerly principal of Coiumba College. Dunedin, who is spending a holiday in Christchurch, was entertained last evening by the members of the College Old Girls’ Association. The party was held at the home of the Hon A. S. Adams and Mrs Adams, where their daughter, Mrs Crosby Morris, president cf the Christchurch branch of the association, was hostess. Pink and mauve llowers, in which sweet peas, antirrhinums and roses predominated, decorated the drawing-room, where the guests were entertained. During the evening vocal solos were given by Mrs Pearce Carey and Mrs Ilallam Gresham, the accompaniments being played by Mrs Moon. Those present were the guest of G. R.
