The conclusion that the registration of bicycles is impracticable has been reached by the By-laws Committee of the City Council, after a thorough investigation of the question. In reporting this decision last evening to the City Council the committee stated that it had instructed the Traffic Department to tighten up as far as possible the control of bicycles and was seeking the co-operation of the police in this matter. It had further been decided that prosecutions be instituted against cyclists who failed to obey traffic signals and regulations. The report was adopted.
