PUPILS’ RECITAL.
Prominent on the programme presented by’, the pupils of Miss Naare Hoopter at lier studio on Saturday evening was the presentation of the play "Symphony in Illusion.” This was the piny which met with such success at a recent recital, and its production on a second occasion was "well received by an enthusiastic audience. For most of those present, however, the most important items were tlioste presented by the younger pupils. For almost three hours, the juvenile artists provided an interesting and entertaining programme. Those who contributed to the programme were Myrtle Gibson, Margaret Hamilton, Jewel Truseott, Nola Thomas, Gareth Thompson, Inez Woodcock, Joan Chapman, Kathleen Mathews, Murray Taylor. Joyce Seers, Nola Thomas, Xoeline Bell, Lynette Thompson. Derek' Taylor, Gwen M’Bride. Zoe Beer. Freeman Holmes, Billie M'l ntosh, Joyce Jennings. Tbe senior pupils were Mavis Holmes. Olga Miles, Heather Clarke and Ida Staples. Those who had parts in ” Symphony in Illusion” were Phyllis Robinson, Winnie Talbot. Molly Talbot, Peggy Gibson. Mrs Maffey. Barbara Leslie and Heather Clarkte. The stage and lighting effects were controlled by Mr E. Os-mond-Smith.
