Newspaper Thieves .

Dear Sir, —I have just read a report of what I consider a very mean theft and a very light sentence imposed on the culprit. It is most annoying to the residents to lose their papers, and in one instance I know of a resident who frequently lost his paper and stopped it. The culprit should have known he would be found out sooner or later, as both the police and paper runners were on the look-out for him. I know some homes that have been ruined and brok«yi up for the same offences, and, like many more, I have no time for evil-doers.—l am, etc., WORKING RATEPAYER.
