MORE FINDING WORK.
Encouraging Signs in Dunedin. (Special to the “ Star.”) DUNEDIN, November 29. In Dunedin to-day there are over 300 fewer men on relief work than there were three months ago. More men are now finding employment in seasonal occupations, while the reduction is also due to the improvement in trading conditions generally. Altogether it is considered an encouraging sign and coming on top of the brighter outlook caused by the substantial increase in wool prices at Auckland, should assist in a return of confidence.
