DANCE AT PREBBLETON

Prize Fund for Children Augmented. A carnival dance was held in the Public Hall at Prebbleton recently, under the auspices of the School Committee, the members of which are endeavouring to augment the fund for the children’s prizes. A large number of guests spent an enjoyable evening dancing to the music of Kinsman’s Band*. Carnival novelties distributed among the dancers added to the gaiety of the evening. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Cora Saunders and partner, and Miss E. Gal- | higher and Mr J. Clifford won a prize ; for being the first couple on the floor.
