OBITUARY.
A. B. Roberton. (Special to the “ Stax.”) AUCKLAND, November 39. After a brief illness following an operation, Mr Arthur Benjamin Robdrton, a well-know-n city merchant and shipping agent, died in a private hospital this morning. Mr Roberton was managing-director of Heather Roberton, Ltd., shipping agents and merchants, and a son of Mr John Roberton, a former Auckland merchant. Mr Roberton was educated at the Auckland Grammar School. In 1895, with the late Mr Harold D. Heather, he founded the firm of Heather, Roberton, Ltd. In 1887, Mr Roberton was married to Miss Ida Eleanor Pierce, a daughter of Mr G. P. Pierce. There are four daughters.
