A decision that traffic signs, as required by the new regulations issued under the Motor Vehicles Registration Act, 1924, should be erected at the various railway crossings and also at the schools in the borough was reached last evening at a meeting of the Riccarton Borough Council. A recommendation on the lines mentioned was brought forward by the Works Committee and was adopted.
