The wool sales reopened with rates upon a higher plane than lor any period since 1925. Prices advanced from 5 to 7$ per cent on the previous auctions on November 6.
PRICES DOUBLED. What Adelaide Figures Show. (Received November 21, 12.50 p.m.) ADELAIDE, November 21. The Woolbrokers’ Association figures for the sales last w<.ek show that the 32,819 bales sold realised £603,628, equivalent to £lB 7s 10a a bale, compared with an average price of £9 12s 5d a bale fOr the corresponding sale a year ago.
