Turkey to Entertain 500 Anzacs. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 28. The “ Daily Express ” says that a “ Pilgrimage of Chivalry ’’ is being arranged for the spring of 1934, when five hundred ex-soldiers of the British and Anzac forces will be entertained by Turkey, the visit including a peaceful re-enacting of the landing at Anzac but ending in a friendly handshake with the defending Turks, followed by three days’ tour of the Gallipoli graveyards. General Sir lan Hamilton and Admiral Sir Roger Keyes are assisting in the arrangements. A liner has already been chartered. The Foreign Office and the Turkish Embassy are supporting the scheme.
