Taylor was ordered to pay T. M. Beadle £ll 17s, in default thirteen days’ imprisonment. Defended Claims. William Anderson, baker, of Christchurch (Mr Russell) claimed £3O from Frank Needham, baker, of Banks Peninsula, and formerly of Christchurch (Mr Hobbs), as the balance of wages owing as at June 1, 1933. (Proceeding.) Judgment for Plaintiff. (Before Mr E. D_ Mosley, S.M.) M. J. Pope, a married woman, of Christchurch (Mr Gee) claimed £9O 18s 8d from L. Sibthorpe, a mechanic, of Christchurch (Mr Young). Defendant admitted thi’ee of the claims made by plaintiff, but contested those for board, £42, and a year’s hire of a garage, £6. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £75 15s 6d. The Magistrate disallowed the claim for the hire of the garage.
