At a meeting of members of the Riccarton Public Library last evening Mr H. Odell (chairman) presided. The secretary reported that thirty-four new books had been placed on the shelves and that there were three new subscribers. The Riccarton Borough Council wrote stating that it could not accede to the request of the committee for additional space for the library.
