ADDINGTON SHOOTING.
Possibility of Further Developments. Investigations are being made by the police at present that may lead to further developments in the rec<nf I sensational shooting episode at Addington Railway Station. On that occasion, Sunday, July 23, Mr Leonard Lee, a railway clerk, was shot in the jaw by a man who fired through the ticket window. Mr Lee was in hospital for a fortnight, but is now making a good recovery. The police have been working under great difficulty in their search for the assailant, and up to the present hsci been unsuccessful in gaining any definite lead. Arrest Likely. It is understood that an arrest is imminent. During the past few days the police have narrowed down their investigations, and it is believed that they are now in possession of the weapon with which the assault was committed.
