TEAM LEAVES FIELD.
(Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, August 28. The final Rugby match of the season. played at Mercury Bay, resulted in United 8 points defeating Kaimarama 5 points. Owing to a difference between the Kaimarama team and the referee (Mr Minifie), the Kaimarama players left the ground half an hour before time. This was as a protest against the referee giving a penalty kick to United, which was thought to be unjust.
