SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT.
In aid of the Business Men's Relief of Distress Fund, another concert was held last evening- under the auspices of the combined Christchurch theatres. A vaudeville night was presented in the Theatre Royal and a large audience was treated to a fine programme. The theatre was well filled and a satisfactory sum should result. The programme was as follows: Orchestra, " Desert Song ” (conducted by Mr Albert Bidgood); Mr Tom Richards, Irish baritone; “ The Happiness Pair,” song and dance duo; Paul T. Cullen. “The Singing Pianist”; Mr Dan M’Kivett, humorous moments; Campbell Bros., concertina speciality; Master Warwick Humphreys; orchestra, “ Community Land”; Mr Dave M’Gill, tenor; Messrs Davis and Lamb, comedy duo: Bailey-Marston, symphonic jazz orchestra. “ Martial Moments.”
