OPriCIK'S DEATH. WHANGAREI, August 2S. Accounts given by seamen concerning the suicide of petty officer Flanagan oboard H.M.A.S. Canberra show that he was quite normal just prior to the incident. Then he went to the upper deck with a rifle concealed beneath his great coat. Two shots were discharged before he died.
