Twelve hundred West Coast Rugby enthusiasts will travel to Christchurch by two special trains to witness the Ranfurly Shield match between West Coast and Canterbury at Christchurch on Saturday. One train will leave Ross at 11 p.rrt. on Friday and the other will leave Greymouth on Saturday morning. One W est i. caster stated yesterdav that the excursionists would not mind where their train pulled up when it reached Christchurch. Thejj were going over to see lootball. And all they hoped was that the game would go the full distance.
