HORNBY-ISLINGTON NOTES.

Owing to ladies of the Hornby branch of the Plunket Society resigning from the committee in a body, the services of Nurse Horne have been withdrawn from the district. It is regretted that the residents are to be deprived of the services of this valuable organisation, and already the advice and training previously supplied is being sadly missed by many of the mothers. The Central branch in Christchurch has advised that the services of Nurse Horne will be restored after a period of three months, provided an able and responsible committee is formed. An effort is being made to form a committee in the hope that the service may again be restored. flt Columba ZadiM’ Guild.
