LUCKY FIND OF RARE STAMPS. The recent discovery of a bundle of old correspondence which contained a number of early New Zealand stamps will be of interest to philatelists in the Dominion. The find was made by a woman in poor circumstances, who was ( leaning out an old chest prior to leaving her house owing to financial difficulties. These stamps, with an old collection, realised sufficient for her to retain her home, and were sold on her behalf by The Stirling Stamp Co., 177, Manchester Street, Christchurch, buyers of collections and old accumulations. 7
