ROUND THE DANCES.
The Athletes’ Dance Assembly will be hold in the Argonaut Hall to-night. Graham's band will bo playing.
A special dance will be held at the Scottish Society to-night. Monte Carlo and lucky spot com'petitions will be added attractions to this popular dance. The Athletes’ Dance Assembly will hold a Grand National ball at Frascati on Monday night next. Bob Bradford’s orchestra will be in attendance.
A monster carnival will be held in the Winton Street Hall on Tuesday night. Streamers and snowballs will be distributed.
Dancing takes place in Dixieland every Monday night to music supplied by the dance band, from eight o’clock till 12.30. The Linwood Old-time Assembly is held in the Argonaut Hall every Thursdav. Wells’s band plays for the dancine and Mr H. Edwards is M.C. The St Mary’s Young Men’s Guild will hold a dance in the Selwyn Street Hall on Thursday. August 10. Monte Carlo and lucky spot competitions will be held. A dance will be held at the St John Ambulance station, Peterborough Street, to-night. The Canterbury West of England Society will hold a social and dunce at the Orange Hall on August 10. A'varied programme will be presented.
