SAVED HER LIFE.
Pillion Girl Thrown Off Just in Time. (Special to the “ Star.”) LONDON, June 24. A motor-cyclist who received fatal injuries in a road accident at Southampton saved the life of Miss Mary Hutchins, of Portsmouth Road. Woolston, by throwing her off the pillion of his machine a few- seconds before a collision with a pedestrian. The pedestrian, John Edward Mountford, of Shirley Road. Southampton, and the motor-cyclist, George Foley, of Swift Road. Woolston, died within a few hours of each other in hospital.
