Indian Trade Statistics Show Improvement. FIVE TIMES AS GOOD AS 1932. United Press Assn.—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 1, 12.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, July 31. The latest Indian trade and railway traffic returns rhow a remarkable improvement upon the conditions of a year ago. The visible balance of trade for the quarter ended June 30 is in favour of India, and five times higher than the figure for the same period of 1932. Railway earnings for the quarter were much better than for last year. These statistics constitute proof that things are taking a real turn for the better.
