Japan May Seize Chinese
Telegraphs. MILITARY ACT CONTEMPLATED. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 1, 5.30 a.m.) KOBE, July 31. The “ Asahi Shimbun ” asserts that the military authorities contemplate drastic measures to recover overdue loans from China, a pretext being afforded by alleged loans concluded during Mr Soong’s recent visit to England and America.
