ROOM IN ANTIPODES.
Germany’s Past, Present and Future. LONDON, July 22, To demonstrate Germany’s past, present and future in the Antipodes, a Colonial Exhibition was opened in Berlin to-day, says the correspondent of “ The Times.” The opening was performed by the Mayor (Dr Sahm) in the presence of former prominent colonial administrators. Dr Sahm emphasised the renewed vitality of Germany’s love of colonies. He quoted Herr Hitler’s dictum against forgetting the people's most sacred right to a free p’lot of land which they could farm and for which the most sacred sacrifice was to shed their blood. “ German}- does not beg for colonies. She demands rights equal to those of other nations. Germans are a people without room. Lack of room makes people lifeless.”
