WANTED ON THE GOLDFIELDS. WHAT THE MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER SAID. A Mr B from Snowy River, a popular figure in that part of the West Coast, had met in Christchurch a friend who was also engaged in Gold Mining, but who hailed from the Molyneux. Mr B was saying that it was a safe feet that if one was leaving the diggings to go into Tkamatua to buy stores, somebody would yell out, "Bring me back a bottle of Baxter’s!” The man from Molyneux declared that it was the same up his way, and added that at least eight out of ten huts could be relied upon to produce a bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. There are numerous occasions when “ Baxter’s ” is certainly worth its weight in gold, especially when one has to stick on the job under adverse conditions. There’s nothing like “ Baxter’s ” to give relief to coughs, colds, asthma, sore throats, huskiness, and all bronchial ailments. Whether you just wish to ward off a chill, or shake off a thick, heavy cough, there is nothing like ** Baxter’s.” Has splendid tonic properties too. All chemists and stores sell the extra large family size bottle 4s Gd, the generous 2s 6d size, and the handy pocket size Is 6d. 1
