NEW BRIGHTON R.S.A.
An executive meeting of the New Brighton sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association was held on Tuesday evening. The president (Mr W. A. Hopkins) presided. Messrs Hopkins and H. Steventon were appointed to wait on the Local Unemployment Committee in connection with correspondence from the Minister of Employment, the Hon A. Hamilton. At a members* social held in the club rooms on Thursday items were given by Messrs F. L. Burrows, S. Gibbs, H. Brooks, R. J. Potter and F. Bake ‘(accompanist).
