Elizabeth Kelly, has been accepted for the 1933 exhibition of the Royal Cambrian Academy at Conway, the Royal Academy of Wales. This canvas is one of two which, after being shown at Burlington House, were accepted for the Paris Salon of 1932 and received the award of Mention Honorable from the committee. The monthly meeting of the Primary Workers’ Circle was held in St Andrew's Kindergarten Hall on Tuesday evening. The president, Miss G. Jones, was in the chair. Arrangements for “ Coal Sunday ” in connection with the Mayor's Coal and Blanket Fund were finalised, and it is anticipated that the above fund will benefit considerably from the combined efforts of the kindergartens. The speaker for the .evening was Miss Baster, of the Normal School, who gave an address on “ Story-telling and Dramatisation,” with illustrations from well-known Bible stories. Owing to her long and varied experiences with children the talk was both interesting and instructive. A vote of thanks was unanimously accorded the speaker.
