POLICE TRANSFERS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July S. The Commissioner of Police announces the following promotions and transfers: Sergeant Quale. Wairoa, promoted to be senior-sergeant and transferred to Greymouth: Sergeant T. I. M’Gregor, New Plymouth, transferred to Wairoa; Sergeant Clist, Auckland, transferred to New Plymouth; Constable Tocher, Johnsonville, promoted to be sergeant and transferred to Auckland : Constable Phillips, transferred from Takapau to Johnsonville.
