HARRIERS.

Baptist and University Results. The Baptist Harrier Club held its run from the residence of Mr J. H. Wilton. 25, Watford Street. Papanui. The trail was laid by the president, Mr F T. Barnett, the Rev J. E. Simpson and Mr K. G. Archer. It led through Bryndwr, the Russley golf links and home via Harewood, a distance ot eleven miles. Results:— Slow Pack—H. Cooper 1, A. Fc-ote 2, Intermediate Pack—A. Wilson, JE. Bissett, S. Handisides, M. Montgomery, A. E. Miles, O. Waters, K. W lute and H. Ormerod. equal, 1. „ _ ... Fast Pack—C. M. Dawson 1, C. W. Bell 2, G. S. Harrison 3 Racing Pack—A. D. Park 1. H. G. B T nail' laid from the foot of Scarborough, Sumner, led the University packs over five miles of steep hill country. The paper was laid by E. F. Dodson and T E. Easterfield up the face of the hill to the top of Taylor’s Mistake road and along the crest to Evans Pass, with a hard run-in down the Sumner Road and past the School for the Deaf. W E. Parrott made the pace for tne fast pack up the hill, dropped back for some time, and then took the lead again at the pass. He made a hot pace all the way down, coming in 400 yards ahead of the second man. Results were; Fast Pack—W. E. Parrott 1. A. T. Shannon 2. P. D. Hewland 3. Intermediate Pack—C. T. Pugh 1, N. W. Mulvey 2, G. R. Simpson 3. Slow Pack—G. K. Armstrong 1, J. M. Steeds 2, E. S. Borthwick 3.
