TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs J. Crust has returned to the Balmoral after a short visit to Dunedin. Mrs R. B. Halstead and Miss M. Halstead, Dunedin, have left for Sydney. Dr R. B. Phillips, Christchurch, is at present staying at the Balmoral. Mrs W. G. Hosken, Simon’s Hill, Mackenzie Country, is at present in Timaru and is staying at Te Kainga, Wai-iti Road. Mr and Mrs Ernest Nichols, Bluff, were the guests of Mrs Bannerman, Sarah Street, over the week-end. Mrs Gordon Lawson has left to stay
with her mother, Mrs Manchester, Wai mate.
