LONDON SOCIETY.
A special meeting of the London Socitety was recently held for the purpose of forming a sports club. The meeting was presided over by Mr \ F Verlander (president), whose proposals met with enthusiasm. The following were elected as a sub-committee of the society:—Mr E. Cordell (e.hairman), Mr C- Clements (honorary secretary) Mrs Verlandfer, Mrs Abbott. Mrs Mann’ Mrs Dwyer and Mr- W. Dork ins. As the snorts programme includes hiking a tramp was arranged for Sunday, May 7, which a large number attended. More trins of a similar nature will, be arranged.
