WE MEN SHOULD RAISE OUR HATS! LADY CHAYTOR PAYS NEW ZEALANDERS A PRETTY COMPLIMENT! As reported in the “ Yorkshire Observer,” she says: “In New Zealand, more than in other places, I was struck by the clothes of the men. It is no exaggeration to say that I have never seen so many welldressed men in my life, as during my stay in New Zealand; even their Ties were perfect” This is higher praise than at first appears, because of the fact that the speaker, on her extended “ Fashion ” tour, associated with and took particular note of the “ well-groomed ” in all of the many important centres it was her business to visit.
