BAN ON BRITISH SHIPS.
Retaliation by Russia to Embargo. LONDON, April 22. The Moscow correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph Agency reports that the Soviet has ordered all Soviet trading organisations that they must cease chartering British ships. Higher taxes are to be levied on all British ships visiting Soviet waters. The Foreign Trade Commissariat also announces its intention of hardening the conditions of transit of British goods passing through Soviet territory.
