Parade and Services for Anzac Day. TO-MORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS. : A parade of returned soldiers, territorials and cadets and a united citizens’ service in the King Edward Barracks will be held in the. city to-morrow to mark the eighteenth anniversary of the landing of the New Zealand and Australian trooms at Gallipoli—Anzac Day. Special services will also be held in many of the suburbs and throughout the country districts. The Returned Soldiers’ Association has made arrangements for the parade, which will fall in at 1.30 p.m., and will move off at 2 p.m. The route will be the same as in past years—via Kilmore Street, Victoria Street, Colombo Street, Cathedral Square and Cashel Street. A halt will be made at the Bridge of Remembrance while the Returned Soldiers’ Association’s wreath is placed there. A gun-carriage and firing party will head the parade, and then will follow wreath-bearers, members of the Veterans’ Association, Imperial Forces, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, mounted rifles, artillery, engineers, infantry, Rifle Brigade, New Zealand Army Service Corps, Medical Corps, I Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Territorials and Cadets. The parade will be in charge of Colonel IT. C. Hurst, D.S.O. Service in the Barracks. The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan. M.P.) will preside at the memorial service in the barracks, and the address will be given by Colonel J. Hargest, D. 5.0., M.C., Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, and M.P. for Invercargill. There will be seating accommodation for about 6000 people in the barracks. The centre block will be reserved for next-of-kin, representatives of local bodies and other officials. 1 his service will begin at 2.30 p.m. After the service, the wreaths will be taken to the Cathedral. A combined service, arranged by Toe H and the R.S.A., will be held in the Cathedral at 7 p.m. The Salvation Army will also hold an evening service in the Citadel, beginning at 7.45. Lifesaving Scouts and Guards will place wreaths at the foot of a temporary cenotaph, which will be erected on the platform. The service will be conducted by Major A. Suter, divisional commander of the Salvation Army. Under the auspices of the Christchurch Ministers’ Association, a united service will be held in the Trinity Congregational Church at 7.30 p.m. Other Services. A citizens’ memorial service will be held at Sumner at 11 a.m. There will be a public procession, which will start from the corner of Grafton Street and the Esplanade and proceed to the Town Hall, via the Esplanade and Morten Street. At New Brighton, a service will be , held at the Stadium at 10.30 a.m. A procession will leave the band hall in Park Road at 10 a.m. A short service will be held at the Boys’ High School grounds. Straven Road, beginning at 11 a.m. An address will be given by Mr A. M. Hollander, .president of the Old Boys’ Association. The Riccarton service will be held at the Wharenui School Memorial Gates at 9.30 a.m.

There will be morning services at the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the Papanui Memorial Hall. A service will be held at the Cenotaph at Lyttelton. The Rev F. Tylee will give the main address.
