Christchurch Hunt Club.

- The annual general meeting of members of the Christchurch Hunt Club was held on Wednesday, April 5. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, Mr Gilbert [ Grijrg, the chairman, said that in spite , of the. fact that subscriptions had fallen . considerably the club was in a slightly better position than last year, owing ! to the fact that there had been a rea- , sonable profit from the hunt ball and that the club had received £57 as its > share of the proceeds of the combined race meeting. The following officers were elected:—President, the Hon Sir R. Heaton Rhodes: vice-presidents, Messrs J. D. Hall, George Gerard, D. W. Westenra and J. H. Grigg; master, Mr Gilbert Grigg; honorary secretary, Mr S. P. Godfrey; honorary treasurer, Mr J. W. Woodhouse; committee. Messrs J. J. Allan, W. Deans, F. Egan, Mrs Gilbert Grigg, Mrs J. H.
