BODY PICKED UP.
Believed to be Missing Italian AirmanWRECKAGE TO BE IDENTIFIED. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 19, 10.20 a.m.) CALCUTTA. April 18. The aeroplane wreckage believed to be Captain Leonardi Robbiano’s machine is being sent to Calcutta for identification. It is now reported that the body of a European was found by fishermen, together with the wreckage, on a small island off the coast of Bengal. The body is believed to be that of Captain Robbiano. Captain Robbiano. Italian ace, was making an attack on the London-Aus-tralia flying record. He left Calcutta at 10.15 on Friday night last for Victoria Point, and has not been reported since. Extremely heavy storms were experienced during the week-end in the Bay of Bengal and Burma.
