EASTER SPORTS.
Selwyn Hut Owners Conduct Meeting. The Selwyn Hut Owners’ Association and their friends spent an enjoyable Easter, the weather being ideal. The combined tennis tournament for the Richfield Cup. for which there twenty-two entries, was won by Miss M. Hardie and Master Jack Copeland. The Yankee tournament (thirty-two entries) was won by Mrs L. R. Brunton, with N. Mansfield second. The children s tern is tournament (sixteen entr-.es> was won by Molly Berry and Frank Whittaker. Eleanor Pratt and Jack Eathorne being runners-up. The fishing competition, which drew over thirty entries was vvn by Mr M. de la Cour, who also wen the prize for the heaviest fish. The children’s field events were well patronised and the fruit and -sweets sunpMed by the association were enjoyed hy all.
