COLLISION AT KAIAPOI.
A collision between a motor-cycle driven by A. Benjes, of Southbrook, with M. Hawkins as a pillion rider, and the Kaiapoi bus, took place on the Main North Rqad, at Kaiapoi .last
evening. At the time of the accident the bus was turning into Hilton Street and the motor-cyclist collided with the rear bumper bar. He received a number of bruises and was severely cut on one leg, while the pillion rider escaped injury. The motor-cycle was hardly damaged but the bus did not suffer any damage.
