DUKE OF GLOUCESTER.
RUGBY, January 13.
The Duke of Gloucester, who is a captain in the Tenth Hussars, is among the list of successful candidates in the examination of Army officers with a view to promotion. Yesterday he left for Khartoum by air on a six-weeks shooting expedition, in southern Sudan.
