Report on Operations on London Market The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office dated January 33, 1933: Butter—New Zealand, salted Sis to S2s, ex S3s (last week 82s to S4s); unsalted 84s to S6s (86s to 88s); 81s to S2s equals approximately Sid, f.o.b. Deliveries New Zealand 2200 tons; in Store 6600 tons. Australian, salted 79s to 82s (81s to 83s); unsalted 83s to 84s (S4s to S6s). Deliveries Australian 2475 tons; in store 3575 tons. The market is quiet. New Zealand retail price unchanged at lid. Argentine, unsalted 82s to S4s (S4s to 86s). Danish 82s f.0.b., 104 s to 108 s spot (88s, 112 s). Latvian, unsaltcd 90s to 925. Market slow. Danish propose to reduce retail price, next week, general Is Id, north of England Is. Empire Marketing Board's estimated stocks all butters, 559.538 boxes (last year 364,000 boxes). Cheese—New Zealand, white 48s to 49s (4Jd, f.0.b.) (48s to 495); coloured 56s to 57s (s!d, f.0.b.) (56s to 575). The market was firmer at the end of the week. New Zealand retail price, white 7d, coloured Sd. Deliveries New Zealand 26,672 crates; in store 39,500 crates. Australian, white 47s to 48s (48s); coloured 54s (555). South Africa, coloured 545. Canadian, white 60s to 68s (60s to «Ss); coloured 62s to 6Ss (62s to 68s). Deliveries Canadian 3400 boxes; in store 139,129 boxes. English, finest farmers 9Ss to 105 s (98s to 105 s). The Port Dunedin commenced discharge of cheese on January 9 and of butter on January 10. The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada: Butter, New York 21 cents: Montreal 21J cents.
