DELAYED BY FOG.

Vessels Unable to Locate Harbour Entrance. WELLINGTON OCCURRENCE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 6. A very heavy fog delayed shipping yesterday and several vessels, including the liner Rangitata, spent the whole day in the vicinity of Pencarrow Heads, being unable to locate the harbour entrance. The fog began to lift about 10.30 p.m., and six vessels came slowly in, arriving in port shortly after midnight. The other vessels were the Awahou, from Gisborne, the Canadian Conqueror from Lyttelton, the Kapuni from Patea, the Kaimai from Greymouth, and the Tamahine from Picton.
