BAND CONCERTS.
lhe Christchurch Municipal Band, u ?i^ er Mi® baton of Mr F. H. Buckley, will render a select programme on the City Rotunda (Edmond’s) to-morrow evening at eight o’clock. As the band is working hard to enable it to attend th ® contest in Dunedin next month the public are asked to contribute freely. . Tbe Woolston Brass Band, which won both test selections at Wellington last February, will shortly be leaving for Dunedin, where it hopes to gain further honours. The band will play in the Gardens Rotunda to-morrow afternoon, and the public of Christchurch will have an opportunity of hearing this fine combination render its contest music.
