The leads’ prize at the Edgewar« green was won by*Haun. Hayward, Lorrimer and Lowther lied for the skips’ prize, and in the play-off the final was won by Lorrlmer. BOWLING. The winning rink in the bowling tournament < n the Christchurch green were: J. Cronin, G. Cooper, r*. C. Cooper and 11. Torrance. The final of the Canterbury Club's tournament was played between Maynard and Raphael and Amyes and Agar, and resulted in a win for the former pair, 7-0. SENIOR CRICKET. East Christchurch at stumps had made 71 for no wickets (Hamilton 36. Park 25). They beat West Christchurch by G 9 runs on the first innings. Riccarton’s second innings closed with five wickets down for 120 runs. Sydenham won by 7 4 runs on the first innings. At stumps Old Boys, in their second innings against St Albans, had lost nine wickets for 152 runs (C. M. Harris not out S, I. 11. McDonald not out 0, extras 4). SENIOR TENNIS COMPETITIONS. As a result of the tennis matches at Wilding Park to-day, United I. have taken the lead in the senior competition from Canterbury College I.
TEST CRICKET. ADELAIDE, January 14. Correction—England’s total, 341 (Verity 45). Australia lost two wickets for 18 runs (Bradman c Allen b Larwood S, Woodfull not out 10). M’Cabe replaced Bradman. Australia have lost three wickets for 34 runs (Woodfull 15 not out, M’Cabe c Jardine b Larwood S). Ponsford replaced M’Cabe. At the tea adjournment Australia bad lost four wickets for 51 runs (Woodfull b Allen 22, Ponsford not out S, Richardson not out 0). At this stage Allen had taken two wickets for 19 and Larwood two for 10. TEST CRICKET. At stumps Australia had made 109 for four wickets (Ponsford not out 45, Richardson not out 21, extras 5). Larwood took two wickets for 29 and Allen two for 37.
